For one of its clients in the Brussels region, 3D–ICT is looking for a:Job purposeOur clientis actively looking for a Linux System Administrator. As Linux System Administrator you collaborate with the ICT Operations teams such as DBA, LAN, and SYS Teams. •Implement and manage ICT infrastructure systems: Linux Servers: Virtual and Physical, Oracle Linux VM servers, Storage, and backup systems. •As a Linux System Administrator, you will work in our Operations team. •Analyse and troubleshoot problems and technical errors on these systems. •Setup and implement the Linux systems •Setup and implement maintenance and support procedures for these systems. •Propose and implement improvement actions which enable an optimal management and usage of our infrastructure. •Improve and automate the configuration process. •Maintain and daily management of all Linux servers, storage, and backup infrastructure. •Each month one week on duty for the system we manage. Skills•Fluent in languages Dutch or French and you have a good working knowledge in English. •Passionate about Linux but also interested in IT operations (network & systemengineering). •Strong communication skills. •Ability to do bottom–up research for problem diagnostics. •Problem solver & negotiator. •Ability towork according to rules, standards and guidelines defined by the Enterprise Architecture/Security Office. •Have an in–depth knowledge of:•Linux Red Hat, RedHat Satellite and Insight•Oracle Linux VM (OLVM) •Have experience in:•Shell Scripting and Python•Ansible Tower/IPA•OpenShift and Docker•Kibana/Logstash/Elasticsearch•Crushftp •have knowledge in the management of•Zabbix monitoring•Rubrik backup system with Cloudian archive•Dell/EMC SAN VMAX , Unity Storage and Data •Domain•Good understanding of Infrastructure and Operations concept (How networking works, Windows Server administration, Bash)•Experience with cloud Architecture and tools specifically experience with Azure and Azure DevOps and AKS is a plus.
