SENIOR TEST AUTOMATION, PERFORMANCE AND SECURITY TEST MANAGER
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Test Automation, Performance, and Security Testing Coordinator collaborates across the organization to implement and execute effective testing strategies, leveraging and enhancing existing tools and frameworks. A strong understanding of testing methodologies and hands-on experience in test automation, performance, and security testing (vulnerability scanning, penetration testing) are essential. While scripting expertise is a plus, a demonstrable understanding of testing tools and their underlying technical principles is key. This role requires exceptional communication skills, enabling clear and tailored messaging for diverse audiences, from executive leadership and infrastructure specialists to offshore teams, technical testers (security, performance), test engineers, and business stakeholders. The candidate will also contribute significantly to the test and release management team, including reporting, quality assurance and reviews, supporting test management tools, cultivating a thriving test community, and driving the adoption of standardized test guidelines and processes across multiple projects and teams.
The person will work closely with the lead test manager, providing support and backup coverage.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Test Automation:
o Technical ownership and vision
o Test automation strategy for all departments
o Drive the test automation community (offshore and internal)
· Performance Testing:
o Technical ownership and vision
o Performance test strategy for all departments
o Implement performance test framework
o Drive the external partnership
· Security Testing:
o Technical ownership and vision
o Security test strategy for all departments
o Improve current unit test framework (code inspections, vulnerability scanning)
o Implement security test framework
o Drive external partnerships
o Participate in Threat-led-Penetration-Testing (TLPT)
· Test and Release Management
o Test release Management and reporting
o Quality Assurance, reviews and follow up
o Coaching, directing and supporting
o Test trainings
o Support test management tooling
o Implement guidelines and procedures
o Drive test community
TECHNICAL/ICT KNOWLEDGE
· Higher education or equivalent by experience
· Familiar with development methods (Agile and V-Model)
· Knowledge of Test design techniques
· Knowledge of ISTQB®, Tmap®, STBox™, or other test methodologies
· Experience with test management tools (preference for Jira and Zephyr Enterprise)
· Experience with test automation concepts and test automation tools (preference for Tricentis – Tosca and Neoload for performance testing)
· Knowledge of ITIL® Processes
· Familiar with Quality Assurance and Risk Management

WORK EXPERIENCE
· Experienced in, or is eager to gain knowledge about, the insurance business processes and the insurance sector
· At least 5 years of experience as test analyst/tester
· At least 5 years of experience as test coordinator/manager within multiple simultaneous small projects or one large project
· Affinity with non-functional tests as security testing and performance testing
· Affinity with test automation
