Introductie
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a team responsible for
developing and expanding an on-premise streaming data platform based on Apache
Kafka, combined with a cloud-based data lake (ADLS). The role focuses on building
mission-critical features and supporting data-driven initiatives across the
organization.
Functie
Responsibilities:
• Further dimensioning of the platform with mission-critical features such as
metrics, analytics, security, availability, and monitoring
• Design, build, and maintain new data pipelines using Apache Kafka, Java,
Databricks, and ELK
• Support DataLab environments for data scientists and analysts
• Connect and expose data through REST APIs
Functie-eisen
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong knowledge of Java, APIs, JSON, SOAP, and Spring framework
• Proficiency in SQL and preferably noSQL databases
• Experience with Git(lab), Docker, Jenkins, Nexus, and Maven
• Familiarity with Kafka, MQTT, SFTP, and WebSockets
• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and visualization
• Professional communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong believer in Agile development methods and DevOps practices
