Maintenance and management of all end-user devices (desktops, laptops, smartphones, smartwatches, tablets & industrial devices) via the various platforms in use.
Purpose
Technically develop, plan and maintain the back-end & endpoint infrastructure within the specific technical area of expertise, in order to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the back-end & endpoint infrastructure in line with the needs of the client organization, including its subsidiaries.
Functie
Management of the back-end & endpoint infrastructure
• Evaluate the back-end & endpoint infrastructure environment to define upgrades, changes & extensions and propose improvements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate various software and hardware solutions that meet infrastructure needs, enabling management to select the most optimal solution.
• Inform and guide infrastructure users to ensure systems are used optimally and efficiently.
• Prepare technical designs in line with specific architecture requirements.
• Implement changes, upgrades and extensions to software and hardware to ensure that technologies and capabilities continue to meet user needs, support new projects and extend existing systems.
• Provide the necessary infrastructure support and maintenance in accordance with the ITIL methodology.
• Participate in on-call duties when required to ensure optimal availability.
Advisory
• Provide technical advice and information to internal and external clients, enabling them to correctly assess technical possibilities and limitations based on the technology stack in use.
• Critically assess potential improvements to procedures and working methods within projects and the department.
• Act as a point of contact within the specific area of expertise.
Knowledge Management
• Actively maintain and develop technical knowledge and share knowledge and experience with colleagues.
• Expand and keep the available documentation up to date.

Conformity Criteria
Evidence of compliance with the requested skills must be provided in the CV.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through professional experience.
• Experience working in large environments with at least 100,000 endpoints (laptops,desktops) and more than 1,000 software applications.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in the same function and similar environments.
• Certification: MCSA, MCSE or MCSD.
• Fluent Dutch or French (C2 level) and very good English (C1 level).
• Willingness to be present at the client’s office up to 5 days per week. The required on-site presence may vary during the assignment.

• In-depth expertise in infrastructure stacks including OS, virtualisation, imaging, deployment, scripting & management toolsets based on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS technologies.
• In-depth expertise in Active Directory, including domains, trees, forests, trusts, groups, users, OUs and sites, as well as LDAP and GPO.
• In-depth expertise in Intune, including MDM, MAM, BYOD, Enterprise Mobility and Security Suite, Conditional Access Policies and third-party MDM solutions such as Knox and KAI.
• In-depth expertise in System Center Configuration Manager, including distribution groups, task sequences and software management.
• Broad expertise in Azure, including static groups, dynamic groups and license assignment.
• Broad expertise in tools such as Windows Defender, PatchMyPC, patching tools, Office 365 including Exchange/Outlook, Teams and SharePoint, ServiceNow and PM².
• Broad expertise in networking, including TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, DNS and DHCP.
• Broad expertise in scripting with PowerShell and VBScript.
