Context of the Assignment

Dynamic organisation with 170 people working within the IT department. It is a bilingual environmen

t with bothFrench-speaking and Dutch

speaking stakeholders. The IT department follows an Agile approach (Scrum methodology), and the e

leven development teams are multidisciplinary.

We are currently looking for an experienced .NET Developer to strengthen our teams.

Each team consists of approximately ten people. The following functions and roles are represented within the team: Scrum Master, Business Analysts, Developers, Test Analyst, Ops Engineer and Product Owner.

Role

The experienced FullStack .NET Developer (frontend and backend) is responsible for the design, deve

lopment and maintenance of the .NET application.

The developer works closely with other developers, testers, business analysts, the Product Owner an

d the Scrum Master to deliver functionalities in an iterative and incremental manner. The developer

plays a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of new functionalities.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain .NET applications using C# and .NET Core. Translate functional

analyses into technical analyses and assist the Business Analyst in validating the technical spe

cifications of applications.

• Analyse and resolve technical issues, handle second-

level incident resolution and provide technical support to colleagues.

• Continuously improve development processes and software quality by keeping up to date wi

th trends and developments in the technologies and methodologies used in the field.

• Implement automation and continuous integration by setting up pipelines and unit tests to e

nsure stable and functional development, testing and production environments.

• Collaborate with the Agile team in a SAFe environment, working closely with other developers, testers, business analysts, the Product Owner and the Scrum Master to deliver software in an iterative and incremental manner.

• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team. Prepare tech

nical documentation and review documentation produced by junior developers.

Required Experience and Competencies

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• At least 8 years of experience as a .NET Developer.

• 3 years of experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
