Functie
As a Functional Analyst, you play a key role in translating business needs into efficient and
sustainable IT solutions. You act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams,
ensuring that developed solutions align with functional expectations and strategic business
objectives.
You collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, solution designers,
and QA teams within a dynamic and agile working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering
• Gather and understand business requirements through workshops, interviews, and
stakeholder discussions.
• Analyze business needs, processes, and expectations across different domains.
Requirements Analysis & Functional Specifications
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories.
• Ensure documentation is complete, structured, and understandable for development teams.
Solution Design Support
• Collaborate with solution designers, technical teams, and developers to ensure solutions
meet business expectations.
• Contribute to functional improvements and efficient solution approaches.
Process Modeling
• Create and maintain process models, workflows, and business rules.
• Support business processes through effective functional analysis.
Stakeholder Management
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Align expectations and facilitate smooth collaboration between all parties involved.
Testing & Quality Assurance
• Work closely with QA teams during testing phases.
• Validate that implemented solutions meet the defined functional requirements.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to functional analysis, user stories, and
business processes.
• Contribute actively to continuous improvement initiatives and optimization efforts.
Implementation & Project Support
• Support development teams during implementation phases.
• Participate in cross-functional IT projects within complex environments.
Profile
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in requirements gathering and functional analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Experience with process modeling techniques and workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
